In removal proceedings, there are two types of hearings: master hearings and individual merit hearings. Clients do not need to attend master hearings — Norte Immigration Law will be there on their behalf. The individual hearing is different and attendance is required. This is the hearing where a client presents their case to the judge and explains why they should be allowed to remain in the United States. The legal team begins preparing clients for this hearing several months in advance.
